Rockford Chess is an independent chess group focused on creating Chess spaces in Rockford. Our mission is to build community and create opportunities to play.

Our efforts to support the scene in Rockford include weekly Chess club for local club players at Maze Books. Workshops for new players & beginners in a collaboration with Wesley Willows and tournaments for our competitive player.
